Attendee Waiver and Release

2026 Annual Neurosciences Conference — Version 2026.2

Assumption of Risk

I understand that attending the Annual Neurosciences Conference involves travel to and participation in an in-person event at a hotel and conference venue, including meals, receptions, and shared spaces. I voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with attending, including exposure to and infection with communicable diseases such as COVID-19, influenza, and other contagious illnesses, as well as personal injury, illness, and loss of or damage to personal property.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Global Neurosciences Institute (GNI), AtlantiCare Health System and its affiliated entities, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, faculty, agents, contractors, and volunteers (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any claim, loss, injury, or damage arising out of my attendance or participation in the conference, except where caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of a Released Party.

Medical Care

I authorize conference staff to summon emergency medical assistance on my behalf if needed, and I accept responsibility for the cost of any medical care I receive.

Photography and Recording Consent

I understand the conference may be photographed, filmed, or recorded, and I consent to my likeness and voice appearing in materials used for GNI's promotional and educational purposes without compensation.

Code of Conduct

I agree to behave professionally and respectfully toward attendees, faculty, staff, sponsors, and venue personnel. I understand GNI may remove me from the event, without refund, for disruptive or inappropriate conduct.

Educational Content Disclaimer

I understand that conference content is for educational purposes only, does not constitute medical advice or establish a standard of care, and that clinical decisions remain my own professional responsibility.

Governing Law and Venue

This waiver is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this waiver or my attendance at the conference shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Atlantic County, New Jersey, and I consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability

If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or void by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation, refund, and program-change policies for this conference are set out in the Terms of Use, which are incorporated into this waiver by reference. I acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to review them before completing my registration.

Electronic Signature

By checking the acknowledgment box during registration, I confirm that I have read and agree to this waiver, that I am at least 18 years of age, and that my electronic acknowledgment has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. My agreement is recorded with a date and time stamp.
